Senior Unity Developer

Frosty Pop is seeking a Senior Unity Developer for a full-time, remote position (preference to Canadians). In this role, you will develop new games, support existing games, and create shared development tools and frameworks. The right candidate will be self-directed, organized, and able to work independently on complex tasks and projects.

  • Support existing mobile titles by optimizing performance and adding new content, systems, and features

  • Support development across titles by designing, building, and documenting tools and processes

  • Work closely colleagues across all disciplines, including developers, artists, and producer

  • Write organized, performant, and well-documented code


  • 5+ years’ experience developing games and tools with Unity

  • At least two shipped Unity titles on mobile 

  • Experience working with game assets (meshes, animations, materials, etc.)

  • Experience building content from start to finish (levels, UI, etc.)

  • Experience with version control using Git 

  • Experience with iOS and Android mobile game development 

  • Experience developing games with both 2D and 3D graphics

  • Familiarity with common game programming patterns

  • Strong familiarity with best practices optimizing for mobile

  • Proficiency working with Apple hardware and software ecosystem


  • Experience in a tools lead or senior role on game development projects

  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs (such as analytics or platform tools)

  • Experience supporting live titles with new game modes and content updates

  • Experience with art, design, animation or 3D modelling
